The East Side Apartments community offers 216 units of affordable housing in Saint Paul’s Dayton’s Bluff neighborhood in two properties – one new construction and one vintage renovation.
The new construction building (1256 Wilson Avenue) opened in 2017 and offers one-and two-bedroom units, and soon will offer three bedroom units that feature Energy Star appliances, laundry facilities and faux-wood flooring. Each unit also features spacious rooms, eight-foot ceilings and oversized closets.
Our vintage property across the parking lot at 1276 Wilson Avenue was extensively renovated in 2018. New windows, patio doors, kitchens cabinets and flooring were added, as well as a new fitness center, a new boiler system, new electrical service and added sprinkler fire protection. The building has 102 units of naturally occurring affordable housing.
Combined, both buildings create a 216-unit affordable housing campus. Residents from both buildings can enjoy the campus fitness center, WiFi-connected community room, business center, outdoor pavilion, courtyard, bike racks and underground parking.
