Franklin Lofts is an example of urban cool in the transitional Whittier neighborhood. Converting a beautiful Art Moderne office building into large-volume lofts was a labor of love for the development team, which preserved many of the historically designated features of the building while deploying groundbreaking new engineering for below ground parking and open truss ceiling plans. The result is a popular urban condo development close to downtown Minneapolis, the Minneapolis Institute of Art and Washburn Fair Oaks Park.
